The Gladstone Library
The Gladstone Library is a truly magnificent room that remembers its literary past where 30,000 books were shelved. The room still retains the gantry used for access to the higher levels, now used as a minstrel’s gallery. Can you imagine a more stunning space to hold a wedding reception? It’s a truly exceptional background and the perfect banqueting venue, with impeccable table settings, fine china and traditional silver service.

No hushed tones required here but we think you’ll be quietly impressed by the splendid architecture and arresting murals. Whether it’s the free flow of a buffet or a formal sit down meal the Reading & Writing Room will encourage your guests to talk freely.
Not only does it let the daylight in but it also lets you out to enjoy the stunning view of Whitehall Gardens and across the Thames to the London Eye. And when the sun sets, the lights of London will bring their own excitement to your evening.

The River Room
Why not let the River Thames, such a rich source of pageantry, be included in your story? The River Room will accommodate ceremony or celebration with panache - a room with a view equally suited to either.
Once upon a time this was the Ladies Lounge, a space creatively arranged to suit a smaller party. If yours is to be a more intimate group this, together with the adjoining Meston room, could be the answer. Seating between thirty and seventy guests it is an opportunity to unite the families of the bride and groom in comfort.

The Whitehall Suite
With either natural light or chandeliers, and its impressive pillars, ceiling and art, let the Whitehall Suite greet your party with aplomb.
Once the smoking room and billiard room, a room the men saved for themselves, now everyone can enjoy the wonderful faience tiling, the jewel in the crown among the gems of its original features.
